Well, I've finally taken the plunge and started my own blog. Why?

Firstly because there weren't that many UK patchwork blogs out there. Secondly, those that do exist were usually tied to shops, designers, longarmers who (quite rightly) have a focus on selling rather than piecing. And when I was a brand new quilter a few years ago, I could really have done with someone to bounce ideas off or ask random questions of. Hence the blog.

I don't pretend to have all (or any!) of the answers but I do hope that my random musings might help some poor newbie quilter who is struggling to cut straight strips or get the perfect consistent 1/4" seam (if you do find out, tell me please?!).
